A Space adventure
A space adventure!
A story by: Sir Javaid
In Lahore, there lived a boy named Farhan who was 20 years old. Farhan was not an ordinary boy. He loved space more than anything. Since he was small, he looked at the sky every night and dreamed about the stars. Farhan studied hard and took his space degree from the University of the Punjab, the oldest and famous university in Pakistan.
Farhan had a cousin named Muhai. Muhai was younger, but his heart was full of adventure. He always teased Farhan and said, “One day we will go beyond the moon! Maybe even to Alpha Centauri!” Alpha Centauri was a bright star very far from Earth. Farhan would laugh and say, “We will go together. But first, we must go to Mars. Maybe life is waiting for us to find it.”
One sunny day, Farhan got a message from NASA. His eyes became wide, and he shouted for Muhai. NASA wanted two bright young boys from Pakistan to join a special mission to Mars. Farhan and Muhai could not believe their luck.
When the day to go came, their families took them to the new Space Center near Islamabad. There were tears and hugs. The rocket was tall like Minar-e-Pakistan and shined under the morning sun. Farhan and Muhai sat down in the silver spaceship. The engines roared, and suddenly, they both felt light, flying away from Earth.
Inside the spaceship, Muhai looked out at the dark space and all the tiny lights. After many days, they reached Mars. Red dust covered the ground, and strange hills rose up. They started to explore. One day, they found a hidden cave. The cave was not normal. Farhan saw weird lights, blue and white, swirling in the darkness.
Suddenly, the cave shook. Farhan screamed, “Muhai! Run!” But the ground broke beneath them, and they both fell deep down.
When they woke up, they were not on Mars anymore. Everything was white—too bright to see at first. “Where are we?” Muhai whispered. A soft voice said, “Welcome to the White Hole. Time moves differently here.”
A white hole? Farhan had learnt about black holes, places in space where everything gets pulled in and nothing escapes. But white hole was the opposite—it threw everything out. Farhan felt scared but also curious.
A shadow moved. When Farhan and Muhai got close, they saw a door made of light. “If we go in, where will we end up?” Muhai asked.
“We have come this far,” Farhan said. Together, they stepped through.
Suddenly, they were sucked into a tunnel—a wormhole—faster than anything. Lights twisted around them. When they landed, everything was different. Far away were two suns, and three moons in the sky. Farhan knew at once—they had reached Alpha Centauri.
They were not alone. Strange creatures, tall and thin, with big eyes, were watching them. But these creatures were not scary. They spoke softly, their words like music. “We waited for you,” the leader said. “We send signals to Earth, but only true explorers can find us.”
Farhan remembered his lessons. “Black holes pull. White holes let go. Wormholes connect. Maybe all these things are doors to new places… and maybe life is everywhere.”
Just then, alarms rang in the spaceship. Muhai ran to the window. In the sky, a black dot grew bigger and bigger—a black hole was coming closer! The leader said, “You must go! Only the brave can escape the black hole.”
Farhan grabbed Muhai’s hand. They raced back to their ship. The white hole door appeared again. They rushed through. Time turned and twisted, and with a flash, they were back on Mars, safe.
They looked at each other. They had seen new worlds, met new life, and went further than any Pakistani youth ever did. Farhan whispered, “We will write about this day. Maybe one day, others will find the doors too.”
They sent a message to Earth: “We found life. We found a way. Pakistan’s youth can go anywhere, even to the stars.”
But deep inside Farhan kept a secret… he remembered the voice in the white hole. It said, “We will meet again, in the place between time and dreams.”
And every night, Farhan would look at the sky, waiting for the next adventu
re, knowing his story was not yet over.
Yeah we will meet again 🙂 💝
